On Sunday June 07 the second 2009 Tompson
Reservation trail project was completed. It was a perfect day for trail work
and we had a good turn-out of volunteers to help complete this project. Our
goal was to refurbish a section of trail locater near the old barn drop and
move it to more sustainable ground making it fun for all. We are happy to
say that 100% of this trail project was completed.

Tompson Res. Trail Maintenance

On Sunday June 07, 2009, Essex County
Greenbelt (ECGA) in conjunction with Dieselbikes, Sinister Bikes and North
Shore NEMBA will be holding our second of four Trail Maintenance days in
Tompson Reservation. This trail day has been approved by ECGA property
management. Sunday will begin phase 1 of refurbishing a connecting trail
that leads up towards Eagle Rock. We will require a ton of volunteers to
complete the job on Sunday. The trail work site about a 15 minutes walk from
the parking location!

On Sunday May 03 the first 2009
Tompson Reservation trail project was completed. It was a perfect day for
trail work and we had a great turn-out of volunteers to help complete this
project. Our goal was to refurbish a downhill section of the Yellow Loop
Trail making it more sustainable and fun for all! We are glad to say 100% of
this project was completed. We even had time to address a few other small
trail matters close to this work site.

Dieselbikes is proud to announce our 2009
Tompson Reservation Trail Maintenance Series. The dates are set and all the
proposed projects have been approved.
We have 4 big projects this year and look
forward working with the local riding community to get these jobs done.

Quick Trail Update Lynn Woods & B&T's

The 2009 winter season is upon
us and this means closure for many local riding spots for the next 14-16
weeks. During this time, our trail work efforts have not slowed down.
We are working hard to assembly
our 2009 Trail Maintenance Series for Lynn Woods and Tompson Street
Reservations.
We have some big proposed plans
for us to review with Land Managers and we will do our best to get them
approved quickly for publication.
